The latest OverDrive training sessions perfect for your staff
By: Briana Johnson-Sims, OverDrive Training Specialist
We’re in an exciting time at OverDrive. This June, we’re inviting new users to meet Libby, our new, one-tap reading app. In addition, we’re offering a new, live webcast series to give you more of what you need to get started with OverDrive.
In addition to our free, monthly Shopping for Titles in Marketplace and The End User Experience webcasts, we’ll be featuring a third webcast that will change each month to cover a variety of topics from reports to curation to marketing. Stay tuned to the Live Webcasts tab of the Resource Center to view the upcoming month’s topics and register.
This June, our third webcast will be Marketplace Reports. This session will demonstrate how you can use Marketplace to evaluate your circulation, checkouts, holds, and more. If you’re responsible for budgeting, purchasing, or reporting on collection usage, this is the session to attend. To get the most out of this session, check with your OverDrive administrator to see if you have a Marketplace account with Reports permissions.
We’ll also be updating The End User Experience to include a demonstration of the Libby app, an awesome new reading experience your users will love. With one tap your users can access your library, their shelf, or their latest read. Your users can continue to enjoy digital content in the current OverDrive app and your digital library website, so we’ll touch on those options, as well. Visit our Resource Center page for everything you need to know about Libby.
Each webcast in our new series will occur at 11am Eastern Time. If this time doesn’t work for you, no worries. Recent webcasts are archived under the Past Webcasts tab of the Resource Center. You can go there today to view our latest special webcast, Meet Libby.
The new series starts Tuesday, June 14th. We hope to see you there!
