Blinded by Science: Big Library Read is back with The Other Einstein
Discover the fascinating life of Mitza Maric, an incredible scientist whose light was lost in Albert Einstein’s enormous shadow.
Now through June 26th, users at participating libraries around the world can borrow The Other Einstein without any wait lists or holds as our most recent Big Library Read kicks off with Marie Bendicit’s incredible story of Mitza Maric, the first wife of Albert Einstein. In the tradition of The Paris Wife and Mrs. Poe, The Other Einstein offers us a window into a brilliant, fascinating woman, whose contribution to the special theory of relativity is hotly debated and may have been inspired by her own profound and very personal insight.
During these next two weeks, readers are invited to enjoy this book and join our discussion board to share your thoughts with library users around the world. Hundreds of thousands of readers from over 20,000 participating libraries will participate in this program and, thanks to Sourcebooks, We have some wonderful content available to your readers.
On the Big Library Read website you’ll find a podcast interview with the author, links to her letter to library users, a discussion guide and much more.
