Helpful new tools and trainings available in the OverDrive Resource Center
By: Christina Samek, OverDrive Marketing Specialist.
Since the Resource Center‘s launch in April, we have received positive feedback and have seen increased site traffic from partners all over the world. We are so thrilled that you are enjoying the improvements and exploring our new content and materials. We, of course, hope you’ll keep coming back for more as we continue to make updates and feature new items.
Speaking of new! We’ve recently added our Summer Reading marketing materials for Libraries and K-12 Schools. In the marketing kit, featured for both platforms, under Marketing & Outreach > Print-Ready Materials > What’s New, you’ll find print-ready materials and web graphics to promote your digital offerings all summer long! Download to distribute and promote today.
For partners utilizing content restrictions for their younger readers, we’ve added a How to Manage Content Access Levels on-demand training module. The brief training details how to enable and manage restrictions on new and existing content. Available under Staff Training > OverDrive Marketplace.
Our popular webcast Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About OverDrive Marketplace (broadcast May 19th) is now available as a recording and PDF, under Staff Training > Past Webcasts. Learn how staff in every area of your organization can use powerful Marketplace administrative and reporting tools to build and manage your digital collection.
Schools can take advantage of our newly added training module, How to Curate Collections for Your School’s Digital Website, under K-12 > Staff Training > OverDrive Marketplace. The curate feature in OverDrive Marketplace is an excellent tool to showcase titles of your choice on your OverDrive website. Thinking of Summer Reading promotion or ways to highlight award winners? This is the training for you!
Lastly, our recommended lists, eHighlights catalog and sales are regularly updated to reflect the latest information. Review now under Collection Development.
This post is the first of many posts highlighting updates and new features at the Resource Center. Ensure your staff subscribe to our blog to stay up-to-date to these and all things OverDrive!
