Maximize your new OverDrive digital library with our special webcast series

The Training Team has an exciting holiday treat for libraries with the new OverDrive! Join us the second week of December for our special webcast series, Wrap Up the Year with the New OverDrive, and let us help you make this the most wonderful time of the year for your staff and patrons. In this three-part series, we’ll give you the most comprehensive overview of your library’s new OverDrive experience yet. Although some of the topics may look familiar, we’ve revamped them to maximize your success going into 2017.
The first session, Building Your Digital Collection, will not only refresh you on how to select and purchase content for your collection, but will also demonstrate how you can use Marketplace administrative and support tools. We encourage all staff who select content, provide end-user support, or report on collection usage to attend this session on December 6th.
The second session, Enhancing Your Digital Collection, will feature the enhancements to your digital collection including all-new curation tools, automated carts, reading rooms, and Resource Center tools. If you curate content at your library or otherwise manage the collection, we encourage you to join us December 7th for live demonstrations of these tools. This session will be especially beneficial to our Advantage partners, who now have the ability to curate collections specific to their library.
The third and final session, Helping Users Enjoy Your Digital Collection, will give you the know-how to help your users enjoy the new OverDrive experience on a variety of devices including desktops, smartphones, tablets, and more. This session, which will be held on December 8th, is perfect for any and all staff who will be interacting with users this holiday season.
All sessions will be held at 2 pm Eastern Time and will last 45 minutes. You can register for each from the Live Webcasts section of the Resource Center. Even if you’re unable to attend, we’ll ensure you receive a copy of the presentation PDF and a link to our recorded session. Add training to your end-of-year checklist!
