OverDrive to present on engaging new readers at the Ontario Library Association conference
On February 2 and 3, OverDrive will be at the Ontario Library Association Super Conference meeting with our Canadian library partners and presenting best practices on connecting with readers from every corner of your community. OverDrive will be presenting in booth #715, highlighting marketing and curation ideas to help librarians build upon a record 2016, when readers borrowed nearly 200 million titles on OverDrive-powered websites around the world. When it comes to leading the charge from a digital library lending standpoint, look no further than Toronto Public Library who not only had more than 3 million checkouts on OverDrive, but they also grew by 20% after a record setting year in 2015.
During our presentations, we’ll highlight some of the ways Toronto and other libraries around the world are bringing in new readers through curated collections, multilingual content available in over 100 languages, innovative lending models, creative marketing campaigns and much more. There’s still time to schedule a meeting by emailing our Canadian Account Executive, Dave Farrow at dfarrow@overdrive.com.
Even if you don’t have a meeting schedule, stop by booth #715 to discover the latest technologies coming to your OverDrive digital library in 2017 and beyond. And be sure to make sure you’re around on Friday at 2 pm as you won’t want to miss our presentation of “Best Practices to Reach and Engage New Readers”. We’re looking forward to seeing you at #OLASC!
