November K-12 webcast
By: Sydney Kalnay, Training Specialist.
One of the most common training requests we receive from you, our K-12 school partners, is how best to promote your OverDrive service. Whether you are new to OverDrive or have been with us a while, you’re always searching enthusiastically for innovative and engaging ways to let your students, colleagues, and even the parents in your school community know what OverDrive is, how it works, and why using digital content is so beneficial in the classroom and beyond.
But you don’t have to tackle this topic alone; we are here to help! On Monday, November 13th at 3:30 PM (ET), we are hosting a webcast called How to Talk to your School Community About OverDrive, where we will share:
- Strategies to engage your staff with OverDrive.
- Marketing tactics to promote the understanding of and interest in your digital collection.
- Data to support the benefits of digital learning.
- Guidelines for integrating technology into the curriculum and classroom.
Included in this session and the follow-up materials is a free, customizable PowerPoint presentation that you can use to discuss OverDrive with you entire school community. This document is perfect for professional development or staff days, parent-teacher nights, school assemblies, and even in the classroom itself.
Join us for a lively discussion about the free marketing resources found on our OverDrive Resource Center and a demonstration of how to incorporate simple OverDrive training tips into your lesson plans and presentations. Be sure to bring stories of all the creative ways you’ve promoted OverDrive in your own school – we’d love to read them via our live chat!
Register for How to Talk to your School Community About OverDrive here or visit the Live Webcasts page of our OverDrive Resource Center to view details for that and all upcoming webcasts. We hope to see you there!
