Have You Met Libby Yet? – Get Introduced During November’s Live Library Webcasts
By: Courtney Sveda, OverDrive Training Specialist
Libby is the newest one-tap reading app from OverDrive that has delighted readers with its ease of use and fun, interactive design. Libby is perfect for first time users looking to access your library’s digital collection or even those users looking for a new digital reading experience.
Join us on Thursday, November 16th at 11:00 AM or 2:00 PM ET to receive a formal introduction to Libby. Does the idea of reading with an app sometimes sound complicated to your users? Don’t worry – we’ll cover all the basics – logging in, adding a library card, and quickly borrowing an eBook or audiobook to enjoy on the go.
Already a fan of the Libby app? We’ll also demonstrate all of Libby’s special features. Have you ever wanted to track your books by custom categories? Libby has a tagging feature which allows you to organize titles into whatever groups you’d like! Do you share a device with others? Add multiple library cards so everyone can enjoy titles. We’ll even show some new ways to search that will allow you to uncover more titles.
This live, 45-minute webcast will provide you with everything you’ll need to help your patrons (or you ?) get started. We’ll cover some of Libby’s most frequently asked questions, and as always, you can live chat with the OverDrive team. We know that once you’ve met Libby, you’ll want to introduce your patrons as well!
Register for this can’t-miss session on our Resource Center under Staff Training > Live Webcasts. And while you’re there, sign up for our other monthly webcasts in November, Shopping for Titles in Marketplace and The End User Experience, too. We hope to see you there!
