Books for Break!
By: Sarah Wilsman, Collection Development Specialist.
My maternal grandmother managed an independent bookstore when I was growing up and my birthday is before the holidays, so I always received lots of books in December which was a good thing for this avid reader.
Winter Break is a great time to read for pleasure between semesters or to read to relax if you need a study break from cramming for finals.
Teachers can either catch up on pleasure reading or check out new professional development titles they may have missed during the fall semester.
And remember that audiobooks are a great way to survive a road trips to see family!
The Best of Lists come out in December so there are always great reading suggestions this time of year.
