Now That’s What I Call Content! Four Must-Have Genres for Your Fall Collection
By Jane Whitehurst, Content Specialist
While autumn in Ohio is wonderful in so many ways (the return of sweater weather, beautiful foliage, pumpkins, candy corn), this year, we’re most excited for the amazing book releases. For book lovers, this fall promises to be epic! In the Spring of 2021, we brought you Genres Vol. 1 and now, by popular demand, we’re back! Join us for Now That’s What I Call Content! Four Must-Have Genres for Your Fall Collection on Aug. 19 at 2pm ET. Maria, Jane, and Jackie will discuss trends in Science Fiction, Young Adult, and Mystery & Thriller and present our top 10 new titles in each genre. After scouring pre-release lists and attending catalog presentations with our publishing partners, our TBR lists are downright bursting-at-the-seams. With so many new titles to comb through, it was a lengthy process to pare our lists down to a manageable number, but we think your patrons will love the titles we’ve chosen. As we offer insight on publishing trends and give our top ten(ish) releases not to miss this fall, we hope to make your collection building experience not only informed, but enjoyable! Don’t forget we host monthly, live webinars on Marketplace and Libby, too! Register today to learn more about shopping and purchasing digital content in OverDrive Marketplace or how to get your patrons comfortable using Libby, the library reading app by OverDrive.
