To help you continue to serve the diverse needs of your reading community, Libby now supports five additional language options for your users! All of the helpful information and guides can be updated to the patron’s native language to simplify their experience and create a more inclusive reading experience for all.   

These five new languages include:  

  • Korean 
  • Malay 
  • Tamil 
  • Danish 
  • Icelandic 
  • This update also introduces support for British English.

Check out Libby Help for a full list of supported languages. 

If a user’s device is set to one of these languages, Libby will automatically display in that language. Users can also follow these steps to use Libby in a different language.  Libby Help is also available in the supported languages.

This update does not affect the languages of the digital titles in your collection. You can find ebooks and audiobooks in over 100 languages in OverDrive Marketplace. Contact your Account Manager if you have questions about purchasing or curating content in additional languages for your collection.
