Serve more readers with unlimited mixed-format Cost Per Circ budgets!
When it comes to access models, Cost Per Circ (CPC) has long been a favorite. From quickly filling holds and meeting high-demand titles to exploring niche titles and expanding non-English content, CPC is one of the best ways to fully unlock your digital library’s potential.
You can now create multiple, mixed-format Cost Per Circ budgets in Marketplace! This update means you now have more flexibility and control over CPC budgets, making it easier to facilitate book clubs, fill holds, leverage special funding, experiment with content offerings and more.
What’s new
- Set up unlimited CPC budgets. You’ll no longer be limited to one ebook and one audiobook budget, and you’ll receive separate monthly invoices for each CPC budget.
- Choose the formats and title counts that fit your needs. Budgets can include many titles or as few as one.
- Manage budgets efficiently. View all CPC budgets at once, or dive into a budget’s details page to see included titles, target budget, remaining budget, and useful data like title cost and circulation count.
- Add titles while shopping. While shopping and searching the CPC catalog, easily add titles to new or existing budgets. If a title already exists within a CPC budget, the respective budget name will appear above the title’s metadata. Please note that a title can only belong to one CPC budget at a time.
- Revoke titles as needed. You can revoke titles from a budget while preserving its settings and schedule titles to be removed on different dates.
Is your current CPC budget setup working for you and your library? Good news, your settings won’t change! Going forward, you’ll simply receive a monthly invoice for each of your CPC budgets.
