Digipalooza Day 1: A big Blue Sky Campus welcome to hundreds of attendees
We’ve barely wrapped up the first day of Digipalooza ’25, and we’re already having the best time!
This week, we’re bringing you hot-off-the-presses updates and recaps from OverDrive’s one-of-a-kind user conference. Taking place just steps away from Lake Erie in our hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, the next few days will offer dynamic keynote addresses and info sessions from experts, not to mention valuable networking opportunities and the chance to meet face-to-face with members of your OverDrive Team.
But first, attendees had an opportunity to relax and recharge at OverDrive’s main campus before moving full speed ahead into Wednesday and Thursday’s exciting agendas.
Digipalooza Day 1 recap: A warm welcome to OverDrive’s Blue Sky Campus
Nestled right in the middle of Northeast Ohio, OverDrive’s Blue Sky Campus is famous (among employees, anyway) for its spectacular views, winding walkway and – depending on who you ask – either its Par 3 golf course or its basketball court.
At an open house in the afternoon, conference attendees had the opportunity to tour the LEED-certified facility and learn a little ebook and audiobook lore, led by members of Team OverDrive.
Afterward, festivities moved out to the patio for the evening’s welcome reception, sponsored by Zinio. This time allowed librarians and publishing industry professionals alike – many of whom were first-time attendees – to mix and mingle with both their peers and our team.
It was the perfect way to kick-start a conference where, in the words of OverDrive founder and CEO Steve Potash, we’ll “hear, witness and learn from some of the most advanced digital librarians on the planet”.
