OverDrive Special Webcast for Schools: Best Practices for Maximizing Digital Engagement
By Sydney Kalnay, Training Specialist.
There’s always so much to do at the start of a new school year. From attending back-to-school meetings to managing your classroom to making sure your lessons are ready to go, an educator’s work is never done – and that’s before the students are back in the building.
Now that the new school year is in full swing, it’s time to develop your plan for digital content success. On Wednesday, September 14 at 3:30 PM (EDT), OverDrive is hosting Best Practices for Maximizing Digital Engagement, a special webcast for educators and administrators who want to learn strategies to connect with students, teachers, and parents through digital content, training, and marketing.
Join us to discover:
• Content selection tools to keep your OverDrive website fresh and diverse.
• Educator training resources to increase knowledge, use, and confidence with digital content.
• Marketing tips to promote digital content online, in school, and around your community.
We’d love to hear your best practices, too! Come chat with us live during the webcast and, with your permission, we will share your success stories on our OverDrive Education blog next month.
Whether you’re a media specialist who orders digital content for your OverDrive school website, a staff member who provides training, marketing, or outreach to your school community, or a decision-maker in charge of integrating technology at your school, you’ll find something in this session to add to the success of your school year.
Registration for the 30-minute webcast is live on our Resource Center. Don’t worry if you are unable to make the scheduled time. All registrants will be sent a link to the webcast recording and a PDF packet of the slides, and we always archive our sessions under the “Past Webcasts” tab on the Resource Center.
Additionally, if you are looking to learn about or refresh your understanding of OverDrive Marketplace or the student user experience, you can join us for our live basics sessions the second week of every month. Marketplace Basics will be held on Tuesday, September 13th at 11 AM (EDT) and The OverDrive User Experience on Wednesday, September 14th at 11 AM (EDT). Registration for those live webcasts can also be found on our Resource Center under the “Live Webcasts” tab.
We hope to see you live on September 14th for Best Practices for Maximizing Digital Engagement and/or at one of our monthly basics sessions!
