Introducing Sora Extras: Learning resources through the student reading app
Looking for new educational resources to keep students learning and growing in the Sora reading app? You’re in luck!
We’re excited to share that Sora Extras — a new category of content to help you reach and engage more students — are now available for you to add in Sora.
What are Sora Extras?
Sora Extras are supplemental educational resources that are accessible alongside your school’s collection of ebooks, audiobooks and magazines in Sora. You can choose from:
DOGOnews, the leading publisher of bilingual academic current event articles for language arts, science and social studies. These resources can improve reading, listening, vocabulary and critical thinking skills. (Please note: DOGOnews is only available to schools in the U.S.)
Method Learning, a provider of lessons and resources to help students prepare for the SAT and ACT and improve their scores.
How can your school access Sora Extras?
Once you’re ready to add Sora Extras, you can do so from the “Databases & streaming media” section of the OverDrive Marketplace SHOP tab.
Then, once you’ve added these services, students can discover them in Sora via the “Extras” section, in the Explore tab.
