Read an Ebook Day is almost here! Are your users ready?
Featured, Library
For nearly 10 years, readers across the world have come together on September 18 to celebrate Read an Ebook Day! With ebooks, your next book is always one tap away and allows us to interact with books in new and exciting ways. This is why every September 18 we highlight the importance of digital reading with Read an Ebook Day.
Ways your library can get involved
- Promote Read an Ebook Day to your community using any of the free marketing kits we have available on the Resource Center.
- Encourage users to share what they are reading with the hashtag #ebooklove. Anyone who uses the hashtag on social media is entered to win a giveaway.
- Remind users to visit the Read an Ebook Day website to find their next great read!
- Show your love for Libby with some swag from the OverDrive shop. All profits from The OverDrive Shop will be donated to the ALA Literacy Clearinghouse, an initiative of The American Library Association’s Office of Diversity, Literacy and Outreach Services.
