This week, Team OverDrive and our public library partners are headed to Nashville for the biannual Public Library Association conference! When you visit us in booth #823, you’ll learn about Libby updates, exciting news about our upcoming Hold Redelivery service and how public libraries can connect with their local schools to encourage students to read more.

Throughout the week, we also will be having several in-booth presentations. Everyone who sits in on a presentation will be entered into a raffle to win a free device from OverDrive:

Empower lifelong reading
Our main presentation is all about ways to engage and delight readers, all within your OverDrive collection. This includes services and features to bring more readers to your library and opportunities to create an exceptional user experience when they visit your site.

Best practices and what’s new
In our other presentation, learn best practices for marketing and outreach from our network of libraries to raise awareness and usage of your OverDrive service. This includes leveraging the Resource Center, curation, social media campaigns and much more.

We also will have presentations from some of our public library partners! On Thursday, Feb. 27, David Cooksey from the San Antonio Public Library and Alison Scanlan and Theresa Kulovitz-Davis from the Jefferson County Library Cooperative will be talking about the benefits of public library-school collaboration.

In 2020, we want to help you not only attract more readers to your digital collection, but also find ways to delight current users of all ages. So if you’re going to be in Nashville, be sure to stop by booth #823 to learn about our latest developments and to say hello to Team OverDrive!
