What’s New in the Resource Center: Back-to-School and more!
By: Christina Samek, Marketing Specialist.
August is always a little bittersweet as it rings in the end of summer and brings the first glimpse of fall (and pumpkin spice everything!). I personally love fall but if you are feeling a little down, these Resource Center updates will hopefully lift your spirits!
We’ve added a Back-to-School Promotional Kit to assist in capturing your students attention this September, available now in Marketing & Outreach > Print-Ready Materials > What’s New. The kit includes a printable bookmark sheet and flyer. Print and distribute these in high traffic areas like the library or at school-wide events. We’ve also included a social media graphic that you can post to your school channels. Start your year with eBooks!
Now that the new school year is in full swing, it’s time to develop your plan for digital content success. We are thrilled to announce our school-specific special webcast, Best Practices for Maximizing Digital Engagement (K-12), broadcast live on September 14th at 3:30 PM EDT.
OverDrive content and marketing experts will share resources and strategies for how to connect with students, teachers, and parents through digital content, training, and marketing. Perfect for school librarians, media specialists, administrators and staff who provide training, marketing or outreach support for your school community. Register now in Staff training > Live webcasts.
Don’t forget about refreshing your content this school year to keep traffic to your OverDrive collection going strong. You can review our hand-picked recommendations in the Fall edition of our School eHighlights. Be sure to check out Shelia’s editorial note where she shares some best practices curriculum ideas!
Speaking of content, get the most of your budget and take advantage of our Back-to-School sale, featuring over 25,000 kids and teen titles on sale 25-50% off! Shop now in OverDrive Marketplace.
