Boston Public Schools has selected Sora as the digital reading platform for its K-12 learning community. All elementary, middle and high schools in the district can access Sora, an online reading platform and mobile app, on any device.
Whether you’re a teacher, librarian, literacy coach, STEM coordinator, tech coach, or paraprofessional, Sora is the way to connect students with digital books.

Through the BPS library in Sora, you and your students have access to thousands of ebooks, audiobooks, read-alongs, magazines, and comics, great for curriculum and independent reading.
Today you’ll find:
- Required titles by curriculum: EL Curriculum, Match Fishtank, and Study Sync
- Book award lists: MA Children’s Book Awards and MA Teen Choice Awards
- Student favorites: Diary of a Wimpy Kid, El Deafo, The Terrible Two, Every Falling Star, Dog Man, Hunger Games, and New Kid
