Back in March, we removed auto-checkout and replaced it with Hold Redelivery, a new feature that gives readers more control over their holds and helps libraries maintain more efficient waitlists.

At the time, Kobo device users needed to borrow available holds directly in Libby, the OverDrive app, or on your library’s OverDrive website. We’re pleased to announce that Kobo users can now view their holds, receive notifications when holds are ready, and borrow or cancel holds directly on their Kobo device.

Note: The option to “Deliver later” is not available on a Kobo device.
